Can I put any rings on a Tikka, or do they have their own design only that will work? It has a dovetail slide.

Im pretty sure any dove tail mounts work. Sako is a different story, they require a taper dovetail

Thanks 280. The receiver is drilled n tapped, as well as dovetailed, but I wasn't sure as I had heard they required special factory hardware.

Maybe...I just ordered some med rings off ebay, Warne Tikka rings that is. $45 and free shipping. Hope that does the trick for me.
