Got back about 4 after heading to the mtn again and setting another new stand loc. Raining steady the whole time, but scouted up the ridge that I wanted to set up on. Came across a trail coming up the ridge, and as I was looking and trying to pick a tree, noticed another trail coming across that intersected that trail. Found a hickory that had a smaller one about 2 foot from it, so finally chose it and put the ladder and loc on up. This might be a pretty good bow stand I'm hoping... Lots of whiteoaks on the side of the hill, and I busted some deer out as I went in too. . Putting up a stand in the rain is pretty cool, literally, but I like the fact that my scent is getting washed away almost immediately.

It will WB, whether I kill a deer or not from it. Just a different place to hunt from and another vantage point that will add to the experience this season hopefully, at least.
