Shane, it was a pleasure!

Post by Huntaholic »

I finally met Shane last night and folks, it was a pleasure to meet another fellow member! As a bonus I learned just a tiny bit about Coleman stuff! Any of the rest of yall that have grandpas old lanterns, stoves, etc.... REALLY need to make it a point to come to the next get together!

Yep I got it! Havent had time to dig into it yet though. I played with that broken one again this morning and when I pump it up I can hear air coming through now, we had already drained the fuel out of it, so is it possible that whatever was blocking that check valve came loose? Its still gotta have a generator of course but theres something coming out of it now?

It's very possible the obstruction was flushed out. They can run without the cleaning tip but there is no way to clean the tip without taking it apart

I will replace the generator and see what it does. That little preheater trick I watched you do last night was pretty sweet! I GOTTA GET ME SOME OF THOSE! :D

Don’t y’all let me forget about the next one. I haven’t messed with mine in a good while. I need to get refreshed on them

super
[Image We score trophies, but every hunt is, to some extent, a way of measuring ourselves.

Always liked messing with the older lanterns.
