Bruiser buck
This buck was killed by my landowner neighbor last week. Talk about a gnarly rack! 22 points!

Very cool, especially getting it this late in the season.

Holy Moly!!!! My dream is to kill a gnarly buck like that! Congrats to your neighbor!

Re: Bruiser buck
Thats UNREAL!!!! Congrats to him! If you look closely, it almost looks like one antler is turned around BACKWARDS!! Only explanation I can see for that is when his rack was almost done growing but still in the soft velvet stage, he ran into something and spun that side around on the pedicle but didnt break it off and it kept growing and added those stickers at the base kinda like we get a scab over a wound.
Re: Bruiser buck
Wicked rack for sure and I would love to have a rack like that in my collection! I wonder if the deer had a foot injury that caused the gnarly side to grow like that. Typically an injured hoof will cause the opposite side antler to be abnormal, especially a rear hoof.
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.

Re: Bruiser buck
His skull plate was cracked significantly under that antler. He would have died soon from that injury as the only thing shielding his brain from the outside was his skin and fur. I'm glad he got him bc he would have likely been lost to the yotes and elements otherwise.

nice!
