headed to forks of the river in the am, taking my wife's 4 month old lab to his first of many hunts I hope

My dad & I are going.

I've had a pretty good season so far with limits Monday and Tuesday. Then I got 5 at a different spot Thursday evening.

Today's field hasn't been shot yet, but we haven't been seeing many birds there. But, I know we won't get any shooting if we don't go!

Well, the field we went to first didn't have much activity, so we moved on to the one we shot Mon & Tues.

We each ended up with 9, so it wasn't a total bust!
