Great weekend!

Saturday we went fishing on Wilson lake in north Alabama and caught some good fish, biggest one was a little over 5 lbs and we caught a couple around 4 lbsImageImage

Today me and a buddy went to a private lake that I have permission to fish and took my flat bottom out with a trolling motor, ended up catching 15 smaller ones and then right before we left I set the hook on a monster! Took me awhile to get her in but I finally landed her, one of the biggest bass I've ever caught. 7lbs 7oz!ImageImage

After we got through fishing the taxidermist called me and said my deer was ready so I went and picked it up, he did a fantastic job as always. It's been a pretty good weekend!

Looks like a great weekend! I love to fish Wilson lake. I don't get down there as much as I use too but we've caught some great fish there.

Congrats on the fish and deer. Was that a bow kill? Did it make P&Y?

He would have made P&Y but I killed him with a rifle on opening day. He scored 131".

I'd say you had a great weekend!!! Very nice! I'm ready for warm weather and fishing. The wife love fishing as much as I do and we are both ready to get after em!!

We released all of these, it won't be long before i go catch a mess to fry up and eat!
