Post by Tngrizzly_ »

That they went up to $197 this year, or is someone trying to start something?

I checked with TWRA on sister site as MT Pockets. It's legit. Price increase to $197. Also checked with a couple of other people. Topofthefoodchain had his on auto renewal. $197

Deer hunting in Tn. Is becoming a rich man trophy sport.

I will get my annual senior license but this may be my last year.

Ok, I just got a reply from SCN he said the type 4 sportsman license is still aviable for same as last years price. The package deals contain other BS according to him. TWRA needs to address this as the packsge deals are the first thing that pop up and are misleading.

That’s a good bit more than we pay. I pay $26.60 for hunting, $13.30 for fishing, and $21.70 for trapping. $61.60 total.

non-resident hunting $306.25. Or you can get 3 day trip for $133.55 or 10 day trip for $189.20. Fishing is $51.00 or a 7 day trip for $28.75. Or you can get a family fishing trip license. It’s valid 3 days and you can add up to 4 family members $28.75. Or you can fish pickwick with your Tennessee fishing license on the Alabama side.

I don't believe he would ever come over here but I do wish we had someone from the TWRA to join up.

Charlie the license has not increased. It is the same as last year. The package deals include duck stamps and other stuff. The annual sportsmans license is the same as last year.

I know we pay more for license than other states but TWRA does not get state funding like other states. It is independent. This was done to keep politicians from screwing things up.
