I believe my father is at the end of his journey of life here on earth. he health over the last 2 years has been terrible 6'2 265 to now maybe 75 lbs if that
he has not ate solid food in a long time and currently has not ate or drank (other than a sip) in 3 days and has not gotten out of the bed.
In the am I am having him taken to the hospital via ambulance.

I called hospice this morning and they can not do anything as he has not been "diagnosed" due to the fact he has not been to a doctor in 2 years he hast to have a doctor refer him . he does not want to know what is wrong and does not want treatment. it has to be the Marine in him. he is 68 almost 69 and is save with very strong faith in the Lord. He has COPD a nervous disorder that has affect his speech and barrets esophagus for 15 years. They told him when he stops eating solid food he probably has cancer. I figured if he did have cancer he wouldnt last as long as he has

the toughest man I know. i prayed over him tonight he wants to spend one more night at home . I have 3 POA over him and mom. I know his wishes and they will be granted. he does not want treatment period. he just does not want to be in pain. tonight he stated he was in a little pain.

I have no idea what tomorrow will bring and to be honest i dread it. i probably wont sleep a bit. to be honest i just want him to pass peacefully

Keep turning to the LORD as you have till now, I pray that he give you peace, strength, steadfastness and a clear mind at this time. As for your father, I pray for courage, strength and peace from the LORD. It is a difficult time you are going through, I as well have been right where you are with my mom and hospice taking care of her through it all with JESUS watching over all of us at that time. It was so peaceful to know where she was going and the new body she would receive from God. Knowing all of this it is still difficult to go through, stay focused on JESUS , he will supply your every need at this time. We went through the same thing with my dad. Dad was 85 when he passed. Cancer took him from us

dad passed at 1:45 today with me standing over him he took his last breath
