Amen! It should be used a lot more often.

Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the president.

It does work. I've never had the extension cord, hot wheel track or flip flop but I have had the switch, back of hair brush, big wooden spoon and probably a few more items that's not coming to me right now. My daughter knows about the belt and I think my wife took to her with a wooden spoon once.

I met the dreaded razor stap one time. It was more than enough. I wanted no more of it and kept my correctional instructions limited to the belt or switch.

Mom used to make us go out and cut our own switch, and if it was too small and she had to go out and get it herself, yikes!

Fairly certain Mom bought wooden spoons every week. And I spent more time in the corner than I did playing as a kid lol

They won't even paddle in school anymore.

All I can say is don't let any lib know you even spank your kid much less with a belt. I had an ex wife cause us hell because I spanked my boys with a belt. 3 licks was the most they ever would get and they knew if they screwed up what they would get. It was always done as a consequence to their actions. Strictly business. Not ever done out of anger. If I was mad i would wait to cool off and the waiting was probably worse on them than the 3 licks they knew they had coming. Different world now than we all grew up in.

I agree with inthedoghouse. The board of education needs to be a board applied to the posterior section of the student. It should not be confused with that so called committee of liberals.

In todays society the kids are running the schools.

When I was in school if we got a spanking in school we knew we had one waiting when we got home. We had no rights. We had privileges granted us by parents, teachers and society. Rights were to be attained at the age of maturity and acceptance into adulthood. Along with these rights came Responsibility.

Today Society wants Rights with out Responsibility.
