Oh my goodness I am so sorry to hear this.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you with heavy hearts because one of our brothers has lost his grandson. Father lift the whole family up in comfort and love, give them strength and faith to get through the tough days ahead. Faith is a powerful thing, we don't always understand your plan, but through faith we know you have a plan for all of us. When we are left behind we tend to focus on the sorrow of losing someone we love. Lord comfort them by knowing that child is in your presence, witnessing the glory of your being bearing witness to the promise you gave us of everlasting life. Romans 8:24-25 says "For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. ~" Lord help them keep the faith, the hope that is the great promise you have made us. Til we all meet again in the by and by. In Jesus's name, Amen.
