Seeing deer...

Post by MUP »

Just not shooting them. Have been 4 times, and with the exception of one morning have had deer from 7 to a little less than 25 yds, open shot ops too, just waiting on the bucks I reckon. Had 3 under me last eve, mama and a couple yearlings. It's been a good season so far for seeing em, but no blood yet. Heading out in a few min again.

Just a matter of time I think. This season just seems like its going to be a good one, cool temps already, leaves changing a little earlier than normal it seems. Really enjoying the season so far. :)

Total bust. Didn't see a deer. First sit in that stand too, just set it up this summer. :(

On the brighter side, the deer were all over the ridge where I've been planning to set up another quick set on Sat during the juvy hunt. :)

I'm seeing deer everywhere...Pear tree behind the house, out in the pastures mid-afternoon until dark, and I'm sure there are plenty in the hardwoods with the acorns...Can't wait until Sat.... :o
