Well I guess friday I'm making the switch to Straight Talk. I'm still skeptical myself but my wife wants to do it because it's cheaper so I told her I'd give it a chance. I had it years ago and was not happy with it at all because the service was horrible. Im planning on just swapping the phone I have now to straight talk. If anybody has anymore advice Im all ears.

We switched to AT&T Go several months ago and are very pleased with it. It's a lot straight talk I think. We switched cause Verizon was too high and the service totally sucked at our house. I'd say give it a try for a month and see how it goes. Nothing to lose!

Verizon doesn't work well in my area either. My phone now is AT&T so im hoping when i swap it'll still run off of their towers since it's a gsm phone.

I have been using Straight Talk for several years now. I left U S cellular after some altercation over pizz poor,phones,service and being roped into a contract Got tricked into an extended contract when all I wanted was upgraded replacement phones plus the bill doubled. Yes, Straight Talk connection service was spotty a few years ago and there were times my hunting buddies had better coverage in some areas. This issue has not been as apparent in recent years. My coverage is as good as theirs and even better in some places. At least if you try it for a month or two you are not locked into a life time contract that will cost a sacrifice of your first born to get out of.

I don't think you will be disappointed WG, my wife and I have been with Straight Talk quite a few years now and we have been well pleased.

I haven't got it yet. My boys tennis match lasted longer than we thought last night so we are going to try to do it today.

Well I finally got everything swapped over to Straight Talk. I went ahead and bought me a new phone and I couldn't be happier so far. I got a phone through straight talk plus which allowed me to pick which network the phone run off of.
