Jumping Jehoshaphat!!
I stopped by to pick up a chicken dinner for my daughter yesterday, and she wanted a medium cotton candy blizzard, so that's what we ordered. Got to the window and she said that'll be $18.xx please... I'm all about getting something from a fast food joint every so often but that's it for me! They can have their higher minimum wage, I'm done with that, ain't paying what I could have bought bologna and bread, along with mayo and mustard and lettuce and tomato to have sandwiches all week for just for one high calorie meal, even if it was for my daughter!

That's definitely crazy high! I paid $10 for a pretty standard southern breakfast after my doc visit this morning.
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.

I got 5 chicken strips, 5 tater wedges, and a 20oz coke from a local gas station/food joint a couple weeks ago, it was FOURTEEN DOLLARS! No more!

You ain't seen nothin' yet. Give it six months to a year when the lack of wheat and fertilizer kicks in. Chicken and eggs are about to skyrocket from the bird flu killings.
If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace.

This is just the beginning! With pay wages like they are things will continue to go up to cover the cost of labor.

I was informed at the end of last year that I would not be getting a raise, ever, again. That I was now topped out and wouldn't receive a cost of living increase either.WG Taxidermist wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 8:31 pm This is just the beginning!
