Frozen would be easier, but hes always had live. Was told its hard to get them to change.

He wasnt very active when I put him in the feed tank, but the mouse running around woke him up. Probably 5 mins from putting him in the tank, to it going down.

Actually, maybe a little longer than that. I wasn't timing it, so Im not sure. It wasn't long though.

When he gets bigger be sure to have plenty of rats on hand , don't want him/her hungry .

Yeah, but this one doesn't get very big. About 5' is normal. Males weighing about 3-4 pounds, and females 5-6 pounds.
And as an adult will only eat one rat about every 21 days.
I actually look forward to it being an adult....as a juvenile, he eats every week....and the closest place to get feeder mice is 2 counties away.
