I'm ready for it! I haven't hunted it in a few years but I've got a field to hunt this year. I can already taste them!

Anyone hunt this field right by Cherokee dam before, if so, is it worth checking out.

I haven't hunted it, but we drove over and checked it out last year. We live very close. Twra had a huge presence when we went by.....like a makeshift check in station. May try it this year, but it will be on Monday.

Ok, I was supposed to work at Cherokee dam this week but that didn't happen but I am off Thursday so I may check out that dove field anyway.
Will be at my land this weekend, although there isn't a lot of dove there, too much woods but might get a few if I'm lucky. Been to the fields in Loudon County but they usually aren't very good.

You might also try around tampico...i usually hear a lot of shooting there. May be some private fields.
