Funky looking rack

Post by Kirk »

I got this picture a couple of weeks ago. I could tell the rack wasn't formed correctly.

Got this picture on today's pull. This would be a nice rack if the left side was formed right.

Then on the other hand, it will have a lot character in the fall.

I would hate to shoot him because of his rack ;)
I wouldn't hesitate that is lots of character.

Considering it is mid July, I will probably get several more weeks of pictures. Then he will range shift about 2 miles and some guy that hunts once a year will shoot him on opening day of gun. :D

Sad but true. I had a buddy the year before last that kept getting pics of this perfect and I mean perfect 10. Opening day of gun a guy that hunts couple weekends a year killed him. The man sawed the horns off and hung them on his shed outside, said he was just hoping to see a spike. My friend was sick for days lol

Bingo!

I have stopped getting too excited over nice bucks on camera. I have had pics of a 13, 2 10s, and many other decent bucks over the years.

They just disappear when the season arrives.

But, I do still like watching them grow and dreaming.

Very nice buck, btw!

Got a couple of more pictures that give a better idea of mass and what appears to be three beams.

I am not sure if this is the same buck or not. I am posting these because I have been getting these strange rack pictures for a few years now.

Sure looks like the same buck. What are the chances of another buck looking like that? Slim. Very cool buck. Hope to see pics with you holding him up :D
