Electric smokers?

Post by rabbit »

In my outdoor kitchen area I current have a Big Green Egg and a Blackstone gridle. I was thinking about getting one of those electric smokers. I have heard different things about the good and bad. There are several kinds, PIt Boss, Masterbuilt, Traeger, etc. Who has one and what is your opinion? Thanks

I have a Masterbuilt 40" since they first come out, it works very well, they have a lot more features these days, a smoke tube with pellets in it will smoke longer than the stock .

I have the Masterbuilt one and love it. Very easy to use and everything comes out great.

Pit boss pro. Smoker on the left, gas grill on the right. Valve in between that can use right side as a smoker too. Does great. Dual temp probs. Prob temp is a little cooler than my external thermometer.

I have a MasterBuilt as well and it gets the job done. It smokes meat. :D
